Step by step – how to set up Facebook Business Manager?

A step by step guide on setting up Facebook Business Manager

You can follow these few simple steps to create a Business Manager Account.

Step 2

Click on the ‘Create Account’ button at the top-right corner of the page.

A pop-up box, like the one below, will appear once you click on create an account. Enter the business name, your name, and the email for your business manager account (we reccomend you use your work email address)

After entering the details, click on the submit button.

After clicking on the submit button, follow the instructions in the pop-up that appears next.  It will contain the name you chose for the account.

Step 6

Open the confirmation email in your inbox and click on confirm now. (please check your spam or junk folder if you do not receive it)

Step 7

After clicking on the confirm button, you will be directed to the business settings page indicating that the business manager account has been created.

Step 8

Go to Business Info on the left hand menu and updated all of your business contact details

How to add people to your account as admins?

Step 1

To assign people, click on People under the Users section in the left navigation. Then click Add.

Step 2

In the pop-up window, enter the email address of the person you’d like to grant access to your business assets. Use the definition of roles to choose whether they should be added as an employee or an admin.

Step 3

After you click Next, you’ll be prompted to checkboxes next to the pages, ad accounts, and other assets you want them to manage. For each page and ad account, you’ll be able to assign specific roles.  (If you haven’t already you can add the pages as per instructions below)

Step 4

When you’re done, click Invite to send your request to that person.

How to add your page to the Manager account?

Step 1

On the left-hand side navigation pane, go to the Accounts -> Pages tab.

Step 2

Click on the “Add” button and then click on Add Page.

Step 3

The below pop-up will appear.

Step 4

Enter the Facebook page URL or the Facebook page name which you want to add to the business manager account and click on the “Add” button.

Step 5

Click on the “Add Page” button. If you’re the admin of that page, it will be automatically added.
